Saturday in the city

At Lucky’s Cafe in Tremont this morning to meet my friend Joe, Morgan the owner stopped by the table and remarked to me, “For someone who lives in North Carolina, you’re in here a lot."

On my way out, Joe introduced me to the filmmakers of the mockumentary Filmic Achievement.

In the Aloha State, there’s an expression — “Lucky you live Hawaii”. Today, I’m feeling fortunate to have friends and family in Cleveland, even if I’ve chosen to continue making North Carolina my home.
