Saturday with friends and family

Just back from a house-warming party at the cool Carrboro Chapel Hill condo of my friends Ruby and Brian. Lots of interesting people there (Paul and Sally, Josh, Tola and others).

Earlier today, Erin and I and the girls drove to High Point to have dinner with my mother and to see that cute little puppy again. Malia, exhausted but sharp as ever, said this in the car as we headed home: “Is that calm music? I don’t want calm music. I want dance music.”
