Aborted afternoon in the sun

Dec 14, 2006

I’d written a post earlier as I sat at Weaver Street Market savoring the day’s last cinnamon roll and chatting with Peter Leone, the doctor I wrote about for my master’s thesis reporting project about HIV in North Carolina. I was just about to write two long posts when my phone rang, the nurse from Anna’s school beckoning me over there to pick up my sick daughter. Anna’s fine now, and my two posts (bumpers, weeklies) will have to wait until tomorrow.
