On the blocks

My message to the NC Highway Patrol:

On I-40 West at exit 278, there is an abandoned Ford Bronco
up on blocks! Someone has stolen all 5 wheels, and this
abandoned car has been there for a week. A few months ago,
another car was abandoned for nearly 4 weeks, and it, too,
had been broken into. I’ve noticed other abandoned cars
along I-40, and have even seen suspicious people stopped at
those cars.

So, my question is this: what’s the highway patrol policy on
cars left on the side of the highway? And how can citizens
assist the highway patrol in monitoring the highways for
abandoned vehicles?
