I’ve arrived in Phoenix. As I got off the plane, my cell phone buzzed to tell me I had voice mail messages, one of which was from WUNC to say my interview with Dick Gordon would be airing right about then. (My buddy Mark Schreiner called later to tell me he caught the segment and liked hearing about my recollections of JCU.)

Nick picked me up, we met up with Matt and Dad at a deli, and now we’re hanging out with Staci at Nick and Staci’s very cool home. Soon, I’m off to the hotel to check into the conference. It’s good to be here with so much of my family.
