Where are you now?

Feb 18, 2006

A few months ago, I thought I’d start on a project to try to find my DeKalb High School Class of 1988 classmates, one by one starting at the beginning of the yearbook and using any online tools I could (but without paying for a subscription to Classmates.com). I haven’t started in on that effort yet, though.

But I do find myself thinking about old friends, past acquaintances and childhood teammates. Last month, I found high school humanities classmate Andrew Shankman, who’s now a professor of history at Rutgers University. I know that Elizabeth Walker is in Hawaii, though I’m still trying to get in touch with her. Sabrina Burmeister I knew in Hawaii, and she moved to Chapel Hill!

A few friends have found me through mistersugar.com and Google searches (Kevin Biacsi, for one). What if I just put their names on my site and let them find me themselves. That is, I hope their googling themselves.

So, here’s a list of people I’m looking for and with whom I’d like to get in touch. (I’ll update the list as I sweep the cobwebs of my brain.) If you know any of these people, please ask them to contact me. And if you know me but aren’t on the list, that doesn’t mean I don’t want to hear from you. Please contact me.
