Tea at 3CUPS

A couple of nights ago, I attended a tea tasting at 3CUPS, a Chapel Hill coffee, chocolate and tea shop. While I already knew much of the tea info that Lex Alexander shared during the event, I was in heaven. 3CUPS is such a lovely, peaceful place, with top-notch ingredients and knowledgeable staff (manager Grant is the guy pouring tea in the picture). Lex is 3CUPS owner, former natural foods grocer (he started the Triangle’s Wellspring markets and later worked for Whole Foods. I often take an afternoon break from work to walk to 3CUPS and sip a pot of Keemun Mao Feng and savor the world’s best brownie from the deli next door, Sandwhich.
