Saving old family letters

In the NYTimes today is a story about a family that’s saved countless letters and other correspondence for 200 years. I’m planning on asking my relatives to bring any old family letters, documents or photos to the reunion we’re planning for July. My Chapel Hill friend WillR suggested a few months back that I take a scanner along to the reunion to capture any of this family history.

I'm pointing to blog posts about oral history and storytelling in anticipation of the NC storyblogging project. Learn more over at StoryBlogging.org.
