NPR covers controversy about the Museum of the American Indian. While I’m not a historian or Native American, I know that I related to the museum quite well, for the reasons mentioned in my earlier post. I also liked the architecture of the building, and the beautiful hand-crafted Hawaiian canoe that was in the main meeting area of the museum. Do visit the next time you’re in D.C.
