NC needs more bees

At work, I helped one of the professors, apiculturist David Tarpy, get out the word on a new program to recruit new beekeepers in North Carolina. In the last few weeks, he’s been on local radio and television and in the newspapers, and today even Seattle readers are learning about why cucumber growers in North Carolina need more honey bees.
