Malia: 1 today

Malia turned 1 somewhere in West Virginia as we drove through the night, chased home by a winter storm approaching Cleveland. After a midmorning nap, she was all smiles and wobbles and climbs, filled with the energy of her birthday. Our part of North Carolina has 70-degree temperatures today, so Malia is swinging into her second year of life.
