Memo to journalists:

Sound advice on the art of writing (see Zinsser or Strunk and White) recommends using fewer words when possible. So, for instance, “improvised explosive device” becomes “bomb.”

Over at Talking Points Memo, Josh Marshall suggests you also use the reference “radical cleric Pat Robertson” and such in light of your liberal use of that label when looking at those rabble rousers over there.
