It took me two trips to the local True Value hardware store yesterday to fix the dripping kitchen faucet – the $4 replacement springs did the trick – and my companion on those visits was drawn like a magnet to the shiny, red Radio Flyer wagons, one of which just so happened to be the right size for a baby doll. I figured $20 was worth the twinkle in her eyes. And, twenty bucks didn’t seem so much after the mountain of money we committed to the purchase of a new Toyota Sienna. (A dear friend, who is a guardian angel – our Clarence – to the girls, helped us in this.) So, here’s what we’re so happy about here on Loyal Avenue:
