Blue on blue

Over the last three years, I’ve tried to be immune to the raging rivalry between UNC and Duke – I just can’t get worked up over college basketball, or most sports, for that matter. I’m a fan of World Cup soccer, and I religiously watch the Kentucky Derby, but college sports seems too pumped up to me. A few days ago, a doctor I was interviewing gave me a copy of an essay in the current issue of Sports Illustrated: “Blue Blood,” about the UNC-Duke dance. It’s a wonderful read.
