Michigan daze

A week ago I was flying to Grand Rapids, Michigan to spend the weekend with the Zuiker5 – my brothers and I, coming from 5 different states, convened at my mother’s apartment in Holland (Michigan) for a long-due family reunion. Joel brought along Gabrielle, Chris told us all about Timex watches, Nick shared stories about fighting forest fires and Matt reminded us how well the NIU Huskies football team is doing this season. We had a blast together, argued only a few times, and enjoyed the beautiful beach on Lake Michigan, where we played football and built a replica of Soldier Field in the sand. Thank you, Mom, for bringing us all under your wing again.
