Erin and Anna are beneficiaries of the Medicaid system for the next year, as we plod along the poverty range. Don’t worry – we’re eating well, and slowly paying off some credit card debt and other personal loans. But the state help is a safety net for us at the moment, insurance for healthy mom, healthy baby, healthy toddler.

So, to those of you who pay the taxes that support the welfare system that helps your fellow Americans, thank you.
