Friendship

Blaine Rogers left earlier this week, on his way to Hawaii for law school. I’m sad that he’s no longer here in Chapel Hill, but I know I’ll see him soon – of course, it helps that he’ll be living less than a mile from my dad there in Honolulu. But with a baby coming in December, I’m not sure when we’ll be able to fly out to the islands. Blaine will no doubt hit the books hard, and the beach volleyball courts the same. He’s a fantastically fit athlete, an intelligent and feeling individual, a generous friend and companion, and my good friend. Best to you in Hawaii, Blaine.
