White Sox dismiss naming-rights jinx Can you believe this? Comiskey Park has been renamed U.S. Cellular Field. The replacement park did away with the venerable stadium where I watched many games from the outfield picnic area, and now this greedy, stupid naming dance does away with Comiskey. (Though if we looked back at how that name came about … )
