Bird call

While Erin was at her Peace Corps meetings today, Anna and I walked around the Rosslyn neighborhood of Arlington, VA. After a lunch at Cafe Asia, a sushi restaurant, we drove a few miles down the road to stop in at Uncle Michael’s Wild Birds Unlimited store. Michael treated us to peppermint hot chocolate from the Starbuck’s next door, and we wandered the aisles of bird feeders and sacks of seed while a steady stream of customers came through the store. Michael reports that this year will be the best of his 11 years there. Tomorrow, we’ll meet Julie Pruskyand Asher and Michael across the Potomac for dinner in D.C.
