Justin Zuiker, a student at the University of Oregon, will be honored today along with 16 other exemplary U of Oregon students. Justin will be given the prestigious Koyl Cup, which celebrates leadership, service and academic achievement. Congratulations, Justin, on a well-deserved award. EUGENE-Sixteen University of Oregon students, two campus living organizations and two faculty members will receive recognition for their outstanding achievements on Saturday, May 18, during the annual Spring Family Weekend All-University Awards luncheon.
Koyl Cup
This award is named for the late Charles Koyl, a 1911 UO alumnus. It is given to the junior man ‘who has shown the best all-around progress in leadership, service and academic achievement.’
Justin Zuiker is a junior business administration major and son of Elaine and Dennis Zuiker, 520 Ithaca Dr., Boulder, Colo. A member of the Delta Sigma Phi fraternity, he has served as house manager and intramural team manager and was pledge president. Zuiker served in the ASUO Senate, managed a student government campaign and was a member of the Child Care Task Force. He volunteers with Food for Lane County, St. Vincent de Paul Society and the First Place Family Shelter. His awards include the Ron Brandt Scholarship and a pair of Centurion Awards.
