Papa

Little Anna, a year old now, said her first word. At Erin’s urging, she sounded out an optimistic ”papa,” and we laughed with joy. Anna is such a beautiful child. She gets her beauty from Erin, of course, who today was approached in a department store by a modelling agent. Erin, though still with a sore throat from her tonsillectomy, is feeling good about herself after a year of recovering from her pregnancy. I happened to celebrate mother’s day yesterday by making Norwegian cinnamon rolls.
