Wedding reels

Erin’s classmate, Erika, called yesterday evening, offering to watch Anna so we could sneak out for a date, and 30 minutes later we were speeding through town to get to Monsoon Wedding. This was a fabulous film, with visual energy backed up by a pulsing soundtrack. As I watched the seeming chaos of the wedding preparations in the movie, I kept wondering what a film of my own wedding would be like (we have no video of the ceremony or the reception). Just as frenetic and upbeat, I presume. Do see this film on the big screen.
