Nick called, with a tired voice. He’s working days as a firefighter with the Forest Service and nights as a beer vendor at the Arizona Diamondbacks games. Last week his engine company was called to a fire near a residential area. The fire was out in minutes, he says, but the cleanup and monitoring of the charred field took hours.
