Sweep, sweep

Anna’s godfather, Tom Michael, wrote from Chicago to tell us that he and Katie joined some of Tom’s family members for a sample of the Winter Olympics sport of curling firsthand on Saturday. They spent the afternoon sweeping—and, presumably, drinking—at Exmoor Country Club in Highland Park, Illinois. Tom’s dad, Tom Michael, Sr., aka the Big Guy, was interviewed for a Chicago Tribune article about curling. See his comments here.
