Arizona brunch

Washington Wizards/Phoenix Suns Nick was at this game, in which Michael Jordan clinched a win with a final shot, and Nick was still pumped up the next day. I talked to Nick as he was waiting in a sports bar in Gilbert, AZ, for a friend to pick him up. He’d just spent the morning with our father, grandmother, Aunt Judy and Uncle Jack Donovan, and Uncle Larry and Aunt Nancy Zuiker. They’d kept up a Zuiker tradition of enjoying Sunday champagne brunch. One of the most memorable of these was on Efate Island in Vanuatu at the Le Meridien Resort; dad, Dot, Erin, Nick and I ate and drank in the cool shade of the veranda as the South Pacific blue glistened just beyond.
