In Cleveland for the Thanksgiving

Nov 20, 2001

In Cleveland for the Thanksgiving holiday, and Erin and I snuck out for a date night tonight, with Grandma Joanne watching little Anna. Erin and I ate at Sushi on the Square, a nice place on Shaker Square, our old haunts. After missing Joe Cimperman and Elmer Abbo at the bar, we went to see the French film Amelie. I loved this flick, and you will, too. It’s funny, smart and full of oddities. A message came to me from my father, who made it into and out of the Grand Canyon alive. I’ll post dad’s essay about that soon.
