A beautiful North Carolina day, with temperatures in the 80s, nothing but blue in the sky and peace in the woods. Erin and I and little Anna went to the nearby North Carolina Botanical Garden for an afternoon stroll. We held hands, talked about the possibilities for Erin’s internship next summer (she has to do something to gain experience in international public health), and gazed at a myriad of greenscapes. There was plenty to smell—a rosemary garden, ginger lily and a forest of loblolly and longleaf pines. See the pictures at right for a few of the images I captured on my digital camera.
