Little innocent Anna and I took the afternoon off from the news and pictures of yesterday’s horrible destruction to drive north to Eno River State Park, where we took a peaceful walk along the river. I couldn’t get the image of the World Trade Center Towers collapsing out of my mind, until I saw a tiny toad hopping past the green leaves of new growth. Life goes on.
