At the Zuiker Reunion 2006 in Oglebay, West Virigina last month, my cousin, Jeff Nolan, sat down with our grandmother, Clarice Zuiker. This is a recording of that oral history. Jeff took video and will be editing it into a much better presentation; we’ll post that to Zuiker Chronicles when it’s ready.

My grandfather, Louis Sisco, recently visited my mother in High Point, NC. I got the chance to sit down with him and record his oral history.

On my last day on Paama, while we were waiting for the airplane to arrive, Chief Louis agreed to sing some traditional songs of Paama. You’ll have to crank the volume on this one, and if you listen closely, you can hear Lopevi Volcano erupting in the background.
