Spring in my step

A lunchtime stroll across campus today to retrieve a book at the library (Ghost Map by Steven Johnson) and another at the Bulls Head Bookshop (Ruhlman’s The Reach of a Chef), and on my way back, lots of halting to take in the sights and smells of a glorious spring evident in the flowering trees. Then, the splattering tinkle of the Hyde Hall fountain for a blissful moment of peace.
