Sweet white ginger

In Hawaii, and then on Paama, I fell in love with the fragrance and beauty of the white ginger flower. Earlier this summer, I bought a rhizome and planted it in the sunny corner of the side yard. Today, the flowers burst forth, and I’m smelling heaven again.
