This looks promising (no link available): “The Ketchup Conundrum: Other condiments change; why not ketchup?” by Malcolm Gladwell, who was noticebly absent from the pages of the New Yorker this year as he wrote a sure-to-be-bestselling follow-up to The Tipping Point.
I stopped by Whole Foods on my way home from work yesterday to buy chocolate bars and Heinz ketchup. Anna met me at the door, threw up her hands and said, “Mama, papa bought Anna new ketchup!”
