Good tunes

Many of you will remember Kris Koch, the talented DJ who provided the tunes for my wedding (also the weddings of Erin’s sisters and a few of her friends). I’ve known Kris since college – he was two years ahead of me at John Carroll University – and I’ve long admired his dedication to world music. See numnum.net for more about Kris.

Kris has also been on a mission to spread the word about music choice. He’s got a great message for parents: really listen to the words of songs, and think about whether you want your children to hear those lyrics. (Earlier this year, I helped Kris edit a few essays on this topic.) Now he’s sent out this letter with his recommendations for holiday gift giving.
